Sister to Canada

I never mentioned that my younger sister married a good English man who happens to migrate in Canada. The couple got married in October 2007, three months after I married my man. She decided to stay in the Philippines for nearly two years that her first born could spend time with the family and celebrate first birthday in GEnsan.

While the visa was on the process, Rob, my bro-in-law keeps on visiting his family. He flew in and out of the Philippines spending thousands of dollars just to be with his family every special occasions.

After a long wait, the visa was approved. So today, they are flying in to Canada. THe three of them! I am so glad they made it. Now I am hopeful for them to have a safe flight and a good family relationship together through thick or thin.

Totoy Bato

Totoy Bato is one of GMA-7 Philippines proud and glory. This television series is starred by the finest actors in the industry.

Robin Padilla together with Regine Velasquez and Manny Pacquiao are surely a hit in the hearts of the Filipino people.

The story itself is full of drama and action with a touch of comedy as well.

When this was being promoted weeks ago, I didn't give a damn care. But then when I started watching it online, I begun to fall in love with the story. Everyday (weekdays), I look forward of following each episodes.

I am encouraging everyone to watch this movie-like series.

GMA-7 never fails to give it's viewers the satisfaction they deserve. THank you for bringing Totoy Bato in the lives of the many Pinoy around the world.

Have nothing to do

And what I am doing early this morning? Hmn it's just 5 AM.

Hubby went to work at 3:45 AM. He woke me up while he was preparing. As soon as I got back to sleep, my daughter cried. She was starvy and had a wet diaper. What a typical Sunday morning.

Now I can not put myself back to sleep.

Anyway, I am watching Savings on style on QVC while creating this post. It's not my kind of presentation, though. The products that they are selling are not my kind of style.

There is nothing much to watch on TV this hour. The little girl is now sound as asleep again. So I guess I'll get back to bed and try my luck.

Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday.

SSC customer service, wazz up?

I am a constant HSN and QVC shopper. Everyday I make it a point to watch one of it's special value of the day presentations.

So Serious Skin Care continuously clear was featured on HSN. Jennifer, the founder/presenter was saying the products are great for eliminating acne, blemishes, blackheads and other skin imperfections. I was reluctant to purchase it in a way that I did not have that much skin problems.

I wasn't sure enough of it so I e-mailed HSN's customer's service and mentioned about my problem and so on so forth. The reply was so quick which I didn't expect. The customer representative have advised me to contact Serious Skin Care.

So, I did.

I tried calling but seemed it was not my luck. I was put into hold for a long time which nettled me. I hanged up.

E-mail was my last hope. I sent my queries to the customer service. It's been a month and til now, I never get any "hi ni ho". Alright, that's it.

The contemptuous disregard was nothing but stink. Hence, I still purchased the said item. It was a great deal though and why not try it, I told myself. So it arrived a week after. In three days of using it, my face became so dry. That was not all, it burnt like I was in the sun for the whole day. My face was a mess.

It was a waste of money and effort. Indeed, the gamble I had is an ascertain to me to be a keen shopper.

Serious Skin Care customer support, work it out guys.

Just a silent view

Yesterday, January 20, 2009 marked the inauguration of the newly-elect President of the United States. Americans are celebrating that very momentum.

Barrack Obama is the first non-white or Afro-American ever to sit as the leader of the nation.

I personally admire his intelligence and his will to achieve his goals but not as a President. As you see, there is nothing much written about him in this blog. This is the first one and might be the last.

For the past week, I have been seeing and hearing all about the inauguration. No matter how I want to ignore the news and all, I can not. Even the shopping network channels feature products or items about him and or related to him. Just like today, I tuned in to channel 8 and wala! Memorabilias are being sold for $19 which includes coins, medallion and cards.

My only option is to sit and browse my bookmarks online. I am so sick of watching the same news over and over again.

The nation has change, indeed! Hopefully, Obama will surpass everything in his leadership. Change America into the best nation in the world.
